Song requests for your TikTok LIVE chat
Your TikTok LIVE chat requests a song and it plays on your own
Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music. A viewer types !sr with a song
name, or pastes a link from any music app, and PlayOver finds that exact track and queues
it.
Free, no paid tier. Windows PC.
Connecting TikTok
Open the Streaming tab in PlayOver, press Connect on TikTok LIVE, and sign in to TikTok in the window PlayOver opens. That is the whole setup. Your TikTok sign-in stays on your PC, and PlayOver reads your LIVE chat there while you are live.
Replies come from your account, the same as on Twitch and Kick: when a request is queued, or cannot be found, PlayOver answers in your LIVE chat as you.
TikTok LIVE Studio does not show those replies in its own chat panel. Your viewers see them. If you are checking from LIVE Studio and see nothing, open your LIVE on another device.
Always free on TikTok
TikTok has no channel points, so requests from your TikTok chat are always
free. If you charge channel points on Twitch or Kick, a TikTok viewer’s
!sr still goes straight into the queue, with the same limits as everyone
else.
A now-playing overlay in TikTok LIVE Studio
Add the overlay to LIVE Studio as a Link source and your LIVE shows what is playing, see-through around the card, with a QR code viewers can scan to open the song on their own service. Streaming to TikTok from OBS instead? There it is a browser source, the same as everywhere else.
It plays on your own music service
Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music. Setup for each is on its own page: Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. Streaming on Twitch or Kick too? That is the same app and the same queue: Twitch, Kick.
What your viewers type
The request command is !sr by default and you can change it.
Viewers also get !queue, !song, !wrongsong,
!skip and !playover. If a song cannot be found, chat says so.
!srstatus in your own chat tells you what is wrong if
something is not working.
The limits are yours
You set the maximum song length, how many songs one viewer can have waiting, the cooldown between their requests, and how many votes it takes to skip. The queue holds up to 50 songs. You and your mods can remove or skip anything in it; viewers can vote to skip. There is no blocklist, so moderation is removing and skipping rather than filtering in advance. More on how requests behave on stream.
Free, with no paid queue cap
Every feature is free — no subscription, no ads, no paid tier and no paid queue cap — including the now-playing OBS overlay, in ten styles, with a QR code viewers can scan to open the song on their own service.
