Apple Music song requests
Song requests that actually play on Apple Music. Your
Twitch or Kick chat types !sr with a song name, or pastes a link from Spotify,
Tidal, Deezer or YouTube Music, and PlayOver finds that exact track on Apple Music and queues
it.
Most song request tools are built around Spotify. This is the part of the market where there is least to choose from, which is why it has its own page.
Two ways, and you pick
PlayOver offers Apple Music (in your browser) and Apple Music (Cider). Neither is the default — you choose when you set up the player.
In your browser
PlayOver’s own words: “Requests play in Apple Music in your browser (Firefox, Chrome or Edge). Press Pair, open the player page, sign in to Apple Music, and type the code there.” The code is entered at playover.app/apple and works for ten minutes.
Keep that tab open while you stream. It is where the music plays. If you close it, PlayOver tells you the tab is closed and asks you to open it again.
Or through Cider
If you already use Cider, the Apple Music client for Windows, PlayOver can queue into it instead: “In Cider, turn on Settings → Connectivity → RPC Server, then test.” That route needs Cider installed; the browser route does not need a second music app at all.
Your viewers do not need Apple Music
They need their Twitch or Kick chat account and nothing else. Their link can come from any music app — PlayOver converts it to the Apple Music track rather than asking your chat to go and find it on your service first.
What your viewers type
The request command is !sr by default and you can change it.
Viewers also get !queue, !wrongsong, !skip and
!playover. If a song cannot be found, chat says so — and in
channel-point mode the points go back.
Commands answer only while you are live, except yours, so you can test
before a stream. !srstatus in your own chat tells you what is wrong if
something is not working.
The limits are yours
You set the maximum song length, how many songs one viewer can have waiting, the cooldown between their requests, and how many votes it takes to skip. The queue holds up to 50 songs. You and your mods can remove or skip anything in it; viewers can vote to skip. There is no blocklist, so moderation is removing and skipping rather than filtering in advance. More on how requests behave on stream.
Free, with no paid queue cap
Every feature is free — no subscription, no ads, no paid tier and no paid queue cap — including the now-playing OBS overlay, in ten styles, with a QR code viewers can scan to open the song on their own service.

Free, nothing for your viewers to install or sign up for, and pairing the player page takes about a minute.
