In Spotify, tap the three dots on the song, then Share → Copy Link. If a friend sent you the link in a message, just copy it from there.

Because the two services are entirely separate systems. A Spotify URL points to Spotify's own copy of a recording, identified by a service-specific ID. YouTube Music has no way to read that ID, and neither company offers a way to translate a link into the other's format — so tapping a Spotify link on a device without Spotify just opens a web page or an app-store prompt.
